Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical mental health assessments and screenings for incarcerated individuals
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans
- Provide mental health treatment, crisis intervention, and therapy
- Maintain detailed documentation in healthcare records
- Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld
- Collaborate with correctional and healthcare staff to deliver care
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- Current licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in California – Required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- U.S. work authorization – no visa sponsorship available
Preferred:
- Experience in correctional, institutional, or trauma-informed care settings – preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems and behavioral health documentation – preferred
